Vehicle Description
This is the latest MGB Roadster that we have just got in and it comes with the largest history file(s) for an MGB i have seen. Five packed ring binders with history dating back to 1981. Originally built on the 18-19th of November in 1968 and finished in British Racing Green with Black trim and hood. Dispatched on the 21st of November to W Watson & Co. Ltd in Liverpool where it was fitted with a Heater, O/D, Dunlop SP Radial Tyres and Folding hood. Invoices date back to 1981 for engine work in Coventry. with subsequent work detailed in the files. The main restoration work was done in 1999 – 2000 where the car was rebuilt on a Heritage shell and the engine was rebuilt by Oselli to unleaded specification. A photographic record shows work at this time. Since then the car has covered less than 20k miles, but has been looked after with whatever has been needed and Mot’d. Coming with Chrome wire wheels, Overdrive manual gearbox, Tonneau cover, Carpeted boot, Spare wheel, Mohair Hood, Original jack etc. This is a beautiful example of a well loved and maintained MGB Roadster that needs nothing but an open road and some sunshine.
