1979 BMW 320. E21. In Sapphire Blue Metallic with blue trim and seats. Only 3 owners from new, with just over 84k miles covered. 5 speed gearbox which was fitted at a later date. 2 litre straight six engine. Uprated suspension and brakes. Alpina steering wheel and gearstick. Uprated seats. Recent brake overhaul and carburettor rebuild. The car comes with its original steel wheels but sits on these Alpina style wheels. Other upgrades are the rear pop out windows which have been changed from the original static type. Originally built in Germany in Dec 1979 and sold by Hammer & Co at Monchengladbach to a British Civil Servant working there then brought into the UK in 1982 where it was registered for UK use. From 1992 to 1995 the car only covered 170 miles due to the original owner getting old and not being able to use it. All this time it was garaged and kept in pristine condition. A much loved family car which shows in its current condition.
