1967 TRIUMPH TR5 – CP2 ‘The very first production TR5’ Valencia Blue with Black Ambla Interior. This historically important TR was built on Aug. 29th 1967 – Build Sheet #8151. Originally incorporated into Triumph’s Press Fleet for evaluation and promotional use. Specification includes Disc Wheels, Overdrive and Heater as well as several unique attributes to the TR5 such as ; Single stand alone accelerator, Oil cooler fed directly from oil filter housing, Armrests, Allen plugs fitted to air track on inlet manifolds, Fuel pressure relief valve mounted on drop bracket below chassis, Anodised windscreen base clamp plates and bolts as fitted to TR4a, Chrome glove box lock, Fitted door seals, Footrest next to clutch pedal. Recent upgrade, new fuel pump cooler. Accompanied by large history file, original handbook, workshop manual. An important and unrepeatable part of Triumph Motor Companies history!
